Spur-of-the-Moment Event at the Nav-a-Gator!!
A great evening was had by all who attended the Spur-of-the Moment event at the Navagator Bar & Grill on Thursday, August 18. Ruth and Dick Brewer hosted the event with 20 Club members attending, well actually 21 counting Jade Carpenick, Rick and Lisa's 18-month-old granddaughter, who had a marvelous time as well! Following our feasting on Super Grouper sandwiches, we headed outside for a mini-meeting and raffling of several Miata items. Phyllis Swathwood was the winner of the new 2006 MX-5 Miata (poster, that is!!) And thank you, too, to Kevin Clark, Palm Mazda Sales Manager, who donated two coupons for oil changes at Palm Mazda. Following the meeting, several folks walked the docks at the marina and even spotted a big gator out in the river. Tops went down as the evening cooled off a bit, and all we could here were those dual exhausts resonating toward civilization!
